Derby cost per participant:
- $5 - Grand Prix car kit (includes pine block, wheels, axles, and car building rules) distributed through contact-free pick up or delivery
- $5 - Race entry fee per car assists with covering costs associated with holding the Power Derby (room rental fees, race track rental, patches and awards)
Cars MUST be inspected and registered to race. If you are unable to personally attend weigh-in, please arrange with someone to bring your car(s) in for inspection and registration on your behalf.
Weigh-in date and time options:
- Saturday, April 17 from 2:00-3:30pm
- Monday, April 19 from 6:30-8:30pm
- Wednesday, April 21 from 6:30-8:30pm
In order to maintain group size limits and social distancing, each family will have 15 minutes to get their car(s) through inspection and registration in order to race. We will not have adjustment stations available so please ensure cars meet the car building rules provided in the car kit and posted on EaganGirlScouts.org and Eagan Girl Scouts RV Facebook page.
Each participant will receive a participation pin and a patch upon registering a car.
After completing registration, cars will be held for the Power Derby Race on Friday, April 23. Cars and medallions for winning car designs and top race placement by program level will be available for contact-free pick up or delivery after the race. Details will be provided at a later time.
